Season outlook
The 2023 Major League Soccer season was a year of challenges for Toronto FC. The Canadian team, which won the MLS Cup in 2017, couldn't repeat the feat and finished the season in last place in the Eastern Conference.
One of the main problems for the team was a lack of consistency. Toronto FC had a run of results in the first half of the season, but then entered a poor streak that kept them away from playoff positions.
Despite the challenges, Toronto FC showed that it has the potential to be a competitive team again. The team made some significant moves in the offseason, including the hiring of coach John Herdman starting from October 1 and the arrival of several young and talented players.
For the 2024 season, Toronto FC has the opportunity to redeem itself and become a winning team again. With a strong squad and an experienced coach, the team may compete for top positions in the Eastern Conference and reach the playoffs.
Expect Toronto FC to be a more competitive team in the 2024 season.
